The Duanesburg Area Community Center (DACC) serves people of all ages and needs from the
surrounding communities by providing cultural, recreational and educational programs that promote healthy living and community spirit.
The Duanesburg Area Community Center wishes to thank all members for their support to the DACC capital campaign. So far, the 2009 Capital Campaign has raised $49,287.60 and our Survival Walk raised an additional $16,288.75. These funds will help the center in its efforts to pay down our construction loan debt. We appreciate your generosity.
More than 80 members and friends of the DACC took part in the “Walk for Survival & Growth” and celebration on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. Member Christine Dickson from Delanson took first place in our fundraising contest. Christine brought in $940 in donations. Second place went to member Pat Eaton from Esperance, who raised $714 for the DACC. Member Jackie Wasniewski from Sloansville took third place in the contest with $510 in pledges.
The DACC wants to make our community a happy and healthy place for you to live. Thank you for supporting our mission.
